Inspired by the beloved Christmas song, our 2025 Advent worship series is titled “O Holy Night.” Each week’s scripture, liturgy, and sermon will be inspired by a different line in the song. Sunday morning worship is at 10 a.m.
November 30: Long Lay the World in Sin and Error Pining (Isaiah 64: 1-9)
December 7: A Thrill of Hope, The Weary World Rejoices (Isaiah 40: 1-11)
December 14: For Yonder Breaks a New and Glorious Morn (Isaiah 61: 1-4, 8-11)
December 21: Fall on Your Knees! O Hear the Angel Voices! (Luke 1: 26-38, 46-56)
Christmas Eve, December 24 @ 7 PM: O Night Divine
Our Christmas Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. in our sanctuary and will feature traditional carols, scripture passages, and candlelight.
Advent Devotionals After Church on Sunday:
Immediately following worship on Sundays in Advent, join us in the basement fellowship hall for a brief Advent devotional and discussion lasting no more than 20 minutes. These devotionals will come from Dr. Kate Bowler’s The Season of Waiting (and Waiting...and Waiting): A 4-Week Advent Devotional. No advanced reading or preparation is required. Just join us for a time of connecting with God and one another. Copies of the devotionals will be available for those unable to join us!
